BACKGROUND
»Plunged out from the sky as a flash of lightning, Lucifer was stripped of his beauty, his position and his claim to Heaven. Since then his eternal goal has been to thwart the grand design of God.«
Seven European composers each created a part of a new grand opera with inspiration drawn from The Myth of the Fall of Lucifer. Confronted with the audience and their live-streamed faces displayed above the orchestra, intimacy and trembling emotions transforms the tangible reality into a reawakening of the opera genre.
